  • by

Here is a Project Log Sheet Template that can help any team effectively manage project issues and correspondence with clients. However, it is really important to understand how this Log Sheet works.

If you are an owner of a business or company where many you have employed many workers, it’s not unusual thing for you to hear about a new issue in the company every day. The thing is that when many people work together either separately or in a group, it’s not uncommon if they have issues within the group or the entire department. It may be about another employee or some of the company’s policies. The best thing in such kind of situation is to investigate the whole problem and resolve it as soon as possible. It’s not a healthy thing to ask your employees or juniors to work while they are having problems or dissatisfaction with their job or work environment. Also when a company deals with a number of clients or competes with other businesses in the market, it’s a common thing to have some problems or issues with that company. For example, if you are working on a project and as a project manager you have already prepared a risk log, you will meet some problems or issues that you didn’t think of. So what to do in that kind of situation?

If such a thing happens, you should prepare an issue log. An issue log is a documented process of keeping a record of every issue or problem you had on the way to the finish line and the related stuff like who was working on it, or who gave the best solution and at what time you successfully resolved it. This way when the same kind of issue comes up in the future, you will be certain to ask the right person or to take the steps that are meant to be taken. By keeping an issue log, a company or business saves time problem resolving or coming up with a new solution every time there is a problem.
